Favorite Tweets and the Week in Review

Recently, I’ve gotten some heartwarming tweets. On Friday, I met with Jennifer Heebner, a senior editor at jewelry industry publication JCK Magazine. JCK was so supportive of me in 2012, choosing me to be its “JCK Asks…” interviewee in the November issue. (Melissa Rose Bernardo‘s introduction to my interview made me laugh out loud.) My Virginia Woolf Whistle necklace and chunky Juana skull ring were featured in the October and May issues, respectively. But this was the first time I visited the office. It was such a pleasure to show my work to Jennifer, because she recognizes and appreciates good workmanship. She also understood the message and aesthetic of my jewelry, as you can see from her tweet.

This tweet from my gorgeous rapper friend Gangsta Boo is from earlier in the month. It has nothing to do with jewelry but it totally made my day.
