Now I’m hankering to wear that dress again ASAP. It was designed by Christian Francis Roth in 1991.

I found mine on eBay in 2009 and first wore it to the Independent Fashion Bloggers conference in February 2010.

But my favorite photo of the dress is from (the now defunct) Fashion’s Night Out in September 2010. Remember Fashion’s Night Out? It was supposed to encourage people to shop again after the 2008 economic crash and recession. But no one bought shit. Crowds just came in for whatever fun events were planned and didn’t spend any money. Except for me, of course! I found the over-the-knee Tommy Hilfiger duck boots I’d been coveting and modeled them for MrB without changing out of the dollar dress.
