Celebrity manicurist Tracylee Percival named my latest Minx manicure “Fade to Black.” It is a two-layered look, with a silver Minx on the bottom and a black ombre Minx on top.

I had been tempted to do the red metallic Minx again because I loved it so much, but I was glad I opted for something new when I saw how this one turned out. It goes well with my silver-and-diamond Cleves swan ring too.

My pedicure is a single-application Minx pattern in silver and black.

Hello, toes!

As always, Henry the dog tried to get into the pedicure-photography action.

"Seriously, where's my paw-dicure?"

If he keeps tempting me like this, one of these days I’m going to paint his nails pink.
