We went the day before the Mermaid Parade! I forgot all about the parade and definitely didn’t have the energy to drag myself back today. Disappointing. The mermaids will have to wait until next year.

Can’t wait to see more of your Coney Island photos. Maybe you had a bite to eat at my cousin’s/uncle’s place, Paul’s Daughter, on the boardwalk on the corner opposite the old Cyclone? Had my first clams and oysters on the half-shell there at 2yrs old!

I *adore* those shoes. & they look awesome with such a stark color palette.
Those daiquiris are such a rip-off, but the funnel cake is perfection. My last funnel cake was Coney Island and I was pregnant and it was like manna from heaven. Better. And I adore those wedges!
