Yesterday’s post was about an unusual custom engagement ring I made.
If you’re in the market for classic engagement or wedding jewelry, there’s no need to be intimidated by my edgier work. I do traditional looks too. Here’s the simple, channel-set eternity wedding band I did for a dear friend who is getting married next month. It’s 14K white gold with half a carat of diamonds.
That’s my hand in the photo. I’m wearing Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips in “Frock Star.” Celebrity manicurist Tracylee Percival applied them 10 days ago and they’re holding up nicely!
Here’s the groom-to-be’s 14K white gold ring.
I’ll be attending the wedding, so the rings are my gift to the couple.

Beautiful work from both you and Tracylee. Those rings are gorgeous.

Simple and beautiful!

I love both bands, in no small part because of their elegant simplicity.
I’ve become more interested in painting my nails recently (as opposed to not at all before since I usually ruin most manis posthaste). I’m going to have to try these Salon Effects soon, I think 🙂

Love the rings, although I am a big fan of your edgier work! I love the manicure too–now I want to go make my nails sparkly…

Lovely. I’m drawn to the beautifully thin band. Channel rings usually tend to be too wide/thick for my taste.

Pretty! And I love your glittery nails.
