A few years ago, while I was browsing eBay or Etsy, I decided that I desperately needed more psychedelic clothes. I was not on acid at the time, so I don’t know why this happened. I wound up buying a strange-looking top with scalloped edges that I wore once or twice with jeans. I thought it looked terrible that way, so I tucked it away in my closet, hoping a better idea would come along.
I tried the top again on Friday with a navy skirt I got during my recent wardrobe therapy. I can’t find photos from the original outings, so you’re just going to have to trust me when I say this is a big improvement.

What a fabulous top! I love the “stained glass window” effect of the straightened out paisley pieces against the sketchy-drawn vibe of the background. So. Cool.
Stacey’s wardrobe therapy is still paying off! Well done, Wendy!

That is a freaking fantastic top. I’m glad you have the packrat mentality when it comes to your clothes because you have some really awesome pieces that would be a damn shame to part with.

Looks great!

Paisley is ruffle in full color and two dimensions. That’s why you need psychedelic clothes!

Ah, that explains it!

All things in their time … applies to some wardrobe orphans, as you show us here! Mine are never so fortunate. Instead of winding up with Daddy Warbucks, many of my odd purchases end up in Miss Hannigan’s garbage!
This top rocks, even though it looks more Art Deco than psychedelic to me. Whatever it is, i’ts lucky to be gracing your pretty shoulders and to have found a new lease on life.

Now that you mention it, I do see the Art Deco element!
