According to WordPress, I’ve published 2,093 posts since starting this blog in July 2007. More than one a day!? I’m not sure I’m convinced by that, but I’m not going to count them by hand either. I also have over 200 draft posts. This week’s news that Britney Spears has parted from both The X Factor show and her fiance/co-conservator reminded me that I had a draft post on Britney sitting around. Well, it’s more of a post about Britney standing around, posed like this:
Go do a Google image search of Britney (What? I’m EXHAUSTED from writing 2,093 blog posts. Do some work yourself). You’ll see this is her usual red-carpet pose. Now, Britney’s been an A-list star for going on 14 years. She knows how to move for videos and concerts and how to pose for proper magazine shoots. But then, there’s this weird pose. As someone who also has only one pose for “everyday” photos, I empathize.
I think it’s obvious that my one pose is way better than Britney’s one pose. So I want to use my 2,094th post to say: Hey, Britney, you can use my pose if you like. No charge! I’m also available if you need someone new to co-manage your existence, but that costs a percentage of your gross income. Just throwing it out there.

She’d do well to contact you posthaste and forthwith, both of which mean right away, really fast.

Yeah, your pose definitely wins 😉

Your pose, hands down, rather, on your hips.

Love that pose. I think everyone needs you to co-manage their existence.
Marti says
Yeah what’s the deal with Britney’s pose? And her smile looks forced – all very robotic looking to me whereas you look relaxed and confident.

Your pose is the best I’ve seen and the leopard print dress is a stunner on you.

Yours is definitely the more enduring pose; plus, you look waaaaay smarter. Hope you get the call about th’ job!
