I’ve always had trouble describing my personal style, but this year designer/blogger/stylist Stacy Lomman declared I have an “affinity toward femininity,” including “low necklines adorned with drapey cascading ruffles or bias-cut fluttery skirts with flared gores.” Here’s one outfit for each month of 2012. January 2012: Wearing a Stacy Lomman peplum dress — and accompanied by the designer — when I won Fashion Group International’s Rising Star Award.
February 2012: Zang Toi’s mullet gown, worn to Vanity Fair’s Oscar party.
March 2012: I think I wore this outfit the whole month.
April 2012: Surprise! Arm warmers are a very practical accessory!
May 2012: Wearing Chris Benz dress and a Band-Aid to the Elly Awards
June 2012: Castelbajac peplum top and what clearly were my favorite jeans this year.
July 2012: Castelbajac sailor outfit and Terry de Havilland flag shoes.
August 2012: Versace dress from 2003.
September 2012: Pucci and rainboots for a Madonna concert at Yankee Stadium.
October 2012: Tartan from Zang Toi.
November 2012: New shirt brightens up old outfit.
December 2012: Celebrating my 45th birthday in knee-high boots and a mini. Naughty!

Yes, she did. You also strive to an hourglass figure, with strong shoulders and hips, and you have a flair for the dramatic (easily seen in your jewelry). You like clean lines, bold patterns and no fussy stuff going on.
The Zang Toi mullet dress is my hands-down fave, but you rock all the months, Wendy!

Wow – you wore some great stuff in 2012. My fave look, at least at this glance, is Novembers. I think the pants with the pink top and the jacket are so chic. Kind of dressed up but in no way fussy. Which is the way I think of your style.

I can describe your style in one word: “classy”. BTW my anti-spam word was “trueblood” this is what hub calls my obsession with Pelligrino sparkling Blood Orange. Drank it with flat champagne on Xmas was yum! XXX
I have been very tempted by that lately! Except I hate consuming any liquids with calories except if they are alcoholic or ice cream based. Because I’d rather have candy!That’s the only thing holding me back from the Blood Orange.
