Gorgeous Barbados-born singer/songwriter Shontelle — Rihanna’s childhood friend — has been out and about during New York Fashion Week, and she’s been wearing my jewelry! You know Shontelle: Her song “Impossible” was a big hit in 2010.
Shontelle has been spending quality time with one of my favorite rings: the onyx skull with tsavorite (green garnet) that currently adorns the header of this blog. She paired the skull with my Clemence ring in amethyst and citrine when she caught some tennis at the U.S. Open.
Shontelle wore the onyx skull again for Fashion’s Night Out, while promoting the capsule collection of boots she designed for CAT Footwear. The website Socially Superlative caught up with her that night to chat about her project and her outfit.
Doesn’t the ring look great with the nails designed by my celebrity manicurist friend, Tracylee Percival?
Yesterday, Jones Magazine spotted Shontelle wearing my Nuit ring in sterling silver and blue topaz at the Falguni & Shane Peacock runway show.
Want more Shontelle? Check out the video for her song “T-Shirt.”
You can follow Shontelle on Twitter here and purchase her boots for CAT here.

My eye is drawn to that spiky bra. I want it, even though I have nowhere to wear it … Plus I think I would scare people.
