Celebrity manicurist Tracylee Percival came up with a Minx manicure for me that’s so heavenly we named it “The Divine.” She layered gold lace-patterned Minx — designed by her manicurist friend Naja — over a burgundy layer for a stained-glass effect.
Stained glass made us think of cathedrals, which made me think of one of my favorite cathedrals — New York City’s St. John the Divine. Hence, “The Divine.”
Because I like to mix metals, I wore my silver emoticon heart ring with the gold-patterned nails yesterday.
The emoticon heart ring is my Valentine’s Day suggestion for the day.
I’ve been selling a lot of these and today I just have one size 6 (non-adjustable) in stock. I’ll have six more adjustable ones by February 9 — you’ll still have time to buy it for Valentine’s Day if you live in the U.S. Email me at wbjewelry at hotmail dot come if you want to reserve one of the six.
Love the manicure! That’s a clever layering technique. Tracylee is very talented.
I love that ring, it’s the next one on my list.
And congratulations on the sales, I hope you sell out!
Your minx mani is beautiful! I was just thinking about that heart emoticon ring; it is so fab!!
Excellent – stained glass fingers!
Truly divine nails. Your valentine creations are beautifully unique.
this is a beautiful manicure…I’ve been thinking of buying a bottle of plain gold polish just to keep my tootsies covered this summer.
Maybe I should post that <3 ring on my husband's FB wall. Is that a decent hint? LOL
This may be my fave minx/gel mani you’ve gotten so far! So lush!
Oh I love this, it’s so pretty Wendy! Love the brown and gold and of COURSE your ring.
