West 47th Street is the center of New York City’s Diamond District. I spend a lot of time there with jewelers, gem setters, metal casters, and wholesalers of all varieties. My latest gel manicure from celebrity manicurist Tracylee Percival is bejeweled gold, so I’m going to call it “47th Street.” Soon it might be the only kind of gold I can afford!
Tracylee created this look with Gelish’s Allure to match the Minx pedicure she did. She used two layers of Minx: the sheer checkerboard pattern is layered over an opaque metallic gold layer. As I tried to take a photo, Henry the dog came over and put his paws next to my paws.
I think Henry needs a paw-di-cure!

Love the jewels on the nails…I would ruin them before I stepped out of the salon…but for someone who is very delicate w their hands…what a beautiful addition to an outfit.

I guess all doggy feet are cute, because I want to pet Henry’s little paws. I have a Great Pyrenees, and many female Pyr owners paint their dogs’ nails. Color shows up well next to the white fur, and Pyrs are so calm and placid they’ll just let you do it. Mine is still a puppy, though, and I don’t expect she’d sit for an entire pedicure.
