Okay, Rihanna didn’t literally steal my dress like Britney Spears once stole my ring, but this Dolce & Gabbana dress should still be mine.

I am the queen of leopard print and I declare this Dolce is the best leopard dress of all time … OF ALL TIME, as Kanye West would say. I’m in love with the combination of outrageous two-tone leopard (oh, and red is my favorite color) with the conservative neckline and sleeves. When I saw Rihanna wearing the dress last month, I simply had to have one of my own. Alas! I called stores across the U.S. and England and it’s sold out in my size. The fact that the fashion police at US Magazine and In Touch scorned the dress is further evidence of its perfection. I know from personal experience that great leopard dresses are often criticized by people with no pizzazz.

While searching for the dress, I picked up a purple consolation prize, also by Dolce & Gabbana. I wore it earlier this week to a dinner at which my friend Carl Spielvogel received an award from the National Urban Technology Center.

Well, for a consolation prize, it’s pretty darn great! Purple leopard print is right up there with red leopard print. Snazzy!
Ah good we’re different sizes so I won’t have to mug you for the two-toned dress should you find it. Leopard rules, and I even try to have a wee bit in every room in my house (currently looking for something to work into the bathroom, heehee!) The purple is an amazing consolation prize, and I absolutely love the draping on it. You look gorgeous and flawless as usual. (Flawless is something I aspire to, but always come out disheveled, I guess its my lot in life… someone has to keep the “slightly off” look going might as well be me!)

P.S. Flying roaches sound pretty bad to me!! Especially if it’s really fear that I’ve developed over the years of having no contact with them lol I remember seeing a huge roach in my hotel bathroom (yes, nasty!) in Miami, where the climate can be considered tropical (more like sub-tropical though) and I am thankful now it didn’t FLY!

that dress doesn’t appear to be very structured, it may not be a big deal to go up a size. But that purple one still look good on you!
