I wrote about Antoni & Alison’s cool intarsia sweaters in June 2008 but I never got one. I couldn’t make a decision because they were all so cute. Spotting another intarsia piece online recently reminded me about Antoni & Alison, so I checked the website and nearly passed out. You know how I feel about trompe l’oeil! i’m such a fool for A&A stuff! was kicking myself i couldn’t make it to their last show. Em… choosing just one of the above is tough! Shirt & Tye, French and Glamour Puss are my favs;)
navy jacket, french, and clown bow are my faves, but gosh it would be sooooo hard to decide!!!
That’s seriously a really hard decision. I started to like French, but then it changed to Navy Jacket and Shirt and Tie. Shirt and Tie is really special like you WB!
I’m pretty sure “check clown” is my fave … but they’re ALL amazing.
Oh GOD. They’re too much….too insanely incredibly gorgeous and I might just join you in passing out. And now I feel bad that I passed up a knitted vest with a trompe l’oeil tie the other day. But it was in a vintage shop I don’t like very much, the owner was staring at me as I looked around (as though I were a thief, or worse still….a dealer) and I decided they didn’t deserve my £20.
I will have to save up another £170 for one of these…
I need one if those sweaters in my life. Especially the clown ones.

I voted for “French” — so classic, but in a very edgey way. I adore them all. I generally love intarsia pieces, but these are super cool.

I love ALL of them; particularly the Navy and the French one. I got a major sweatergasm reading that blog.
i am so happy to see antoni and alison doing something interesting again… they were my favorites about 10 years ago, and i absolutely loved their whimsy.
OK, I chose one but I could have gone with any of them – call it “multiple sweatergasm”!
