A day after I posted the only known photo of me in sneakers, a package arrived bearing new sneakers! They are an incredibly thoughtful gift from gorgeous soon-to-be-blogging-again ENC (check her blog TOMORROW). When I saw her in L.A. recently, I admired her colorful Onitsuka Tiger sneakers.A I don’t know how she weaseled my shoe size out of me, but when I got back to New York, my very own pair was waiting for me.
They came with a spare pair of purple laces.
Much more stylish than my white New Balance pair.
ENC is one of the most generous people I know. She helps me with Photoshop, prevents me from sending angry emails, bakes muffins for me and now she sends sneakers too. I heart you, ENC! Thank you for everything!
Wow, those are quite colorful! I might even be persuaded to go do a few laps if I had some sweet shoes like that.
In other, bigger, news: my word ver is “broad.” You have the best word ver in the blogosphere. I always get something good.

What a great find, those shoes are awesome, awesome, awesome, I love the onitsuka tigers! When you meet my husband you two will have to wear your tiger shoes and do twins photos, although his are blue and yellow.
