I started this blog 11 years ago today with “just a placeholder.” Shout out to Britney Spears, who — a couple of days later — inspired me to start writing a lot more than I’d planned to.

Since July 23, 2007, I’ve published 3,746 posts, meaning I’ve added about 250 after celebrating my 10th blogversary last year. That extra-special milestone called for a video, and if you haven’t seen it before, you can watch it now.
Posting-wise, my #goals for the near future include completing a post that I first tinkered with — I shit you not — 11 years ago.
My procrastination on Part II of my sad Shady Records story hasn’t been quite that egregious, seeing as I posted Part I this April. I’m going to focus on getting that one live before July 23, 2029, because 11 years can fly by before you know it!

TIme really does fly. I started in January 2018 – also on a total whim (I thought I might post 1 or 2 times?!) and here I am. Even when I quit blogging I keep blogging! The internet is lucky to have you.
