For Throwback Thursday, I have a few more pictures from last month’s Women’s Jewelry Association Award for Excellence gala.
First, the sentimental one. I love the way this picture captures the camaraderie of the WJA members. All hands on deck!
Now for the silly ones. How could I forget to post my duckface photo with gorgeous jewelry blogger Barbara Palumbo? We do one whenever we get together.
Admittedly, that’s not my best duckface. It’s more like a non-surgical version of a trout pout. I need to brush up on my skills.
Speaking of Barbara, belated thanks to her for hosting her traditional post-jewelry-gala “Whiskey Breakfast.” My right-hand woman Eryn and I had a great time, though you wouldn’t know that from this photo that seems to show us giving the hairy eyeball to jewelry designer Lika Behar.
I swear we weren’t looking at Lika! I don’t know what was happening at that moment. I might have been complaining to Eryn that I’d eaten too many breakfast burritos. I mean, seriously, WTF.
