Thanks to the letter rings from my WENDYB by Wendy Brandes line, I’ve got the right jewelry for every occasion, including a little party the Columbia Daily Spectator had on May 4.
The event marked the last evening of production for the daily print issue of Columbia University’s undergraduate newspaper. As the chairman of Spec’s board of alumni trustees, I was involved in last month’s passionate debate over the decision to switch Spectator’s focus to online coverage, which is how most of its readers consume Spec content now. (If you missed my blog posts and/or other media coverage of the move, there is a list of links here.)
We had a festive cake …
… and I said a few words.
I wasn’t the only one dressed for the occasion.
The Kate Spade keyboard purse carried by Emma Goss, associate news editor, reminded me of this Mary Katrantzou dress.
If you want to let your fingers do the talking, check out my letter rings here. Looking for something a little more subtle?
