Darlings, it’s after 2 AM and I have to get up before noon for a change, so I don’t have time to tell you all that happened to me last night. Here’s the short version:

I got an awesome new Francis by Christian Francis Roth piece that I’m calling the “Erica Jong dress.” (Christian’s name suggestion is “The Zipless Frock.”)

Naturally, I accessorized with the swear rings.

I saw a crazy drunk girl throw up on a nice blogger in the front row of a fashion show. (No pictures. You should thank me for that.)

I saw a model faint on the runway in the same show. At first we thought she was just falling out of her shoe, but she kept wobbling and the model next to her had to half-carry her backstage.

I met a bunch of cool people.

I read Market Publique’s blog post on the IFB party and a bunch of lies my stylist, Prunella Jones, made up about me.

    and third, would it be crass if some of my friends from parsons come with me on a francisnewyork studio visit? i’d love to take a look and i showed them his website and they loved his dresses too.

    That poor blogger! What do you do when someone pukes on you at a show? Especially in the front row? Do you just sit there and hope the colours match your outfit?

  22. What fun photos! Phillip Lim is such a sweetie. Especially for doing two shows so that more of his fans can check out his clothing. Also, the front row puking is um… Sad.

  31. Jordana, isn’t the dress the best? It came in last week as part of the second fall delivery. I will know next Tuesday if I have one around in your size or not and will let you know. Christian was talking about redoing it in a different fabric for spring and I totally think he should.
