You can recognize me by my Francis patchwork plaid jacket.
After the flight, we had breakfast at a Tex-Mex place, where I was amused by this sign.
Believe it or not, I had nothing to fear because I wore sneakers in order to climb into the balloon basket. MrB thinks it’s the first time he’s ever seen me wear sneakers outside of the gym. He took a picture in case people didn’t believe it really happened.

The balloons are so gorgeous – i’ll never forget going to a big balloon festival in Iowas as a kid – incredible, all the colors and that cool inflating noise.
And the tennies look darling, especially with your CFR jacket!
