When gorgeous client Brenda DiForte sent me this picture of herself wearing her new 18K-gold teeny genie necklace, I immediately asked if I could share it. Look at how adorable she is!
She emailed me, “Obsessed with my genie necklace! It’s been my go-to piece!” That’s a major compliment because Brenda studied jewelry design at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. She JUST launched a blog dedicated to jewelry and other beautiful things called Illuminada Blue. Check out her About page to find out what the name of the blog means; I love it!
The genie pendant that Brenda purchased is petite but, as is typical of my work, it still has plenty of detail — I made sure you could see the genie’s little vest, pants, curly-toed shoes and ponytail.

If you’ve been following me on Facebook, you know that I’ve sold all of my silver and gold teeny genie necklaces and I won’t be making any more. But you still have a chance of getting my silver wolf (or dog) necklace on sale.
I’ve got two of those left. Once again, when they’re gone, there won’t be any more made, so buy now or forever hold your peace! If you prefer gold to silver, the 18K gold version of the wolf is available at Broken English Jewelry for $700.
Brenda is gorgeous, and so is little Genie. You make great stuff, Wendy, srsly.
Thanks, Patti!
As soon as I read this article, I went to your site to order the wolf necklace. Too bad the shipping to Brazil is more than $100. I was disappointed. Need me some Wendyb jewelry 🙁
Brenda is crazy beautiful, and I love that delicate little pendant on her. Limited edition WendyB jewelry – so cool!
She’s gaw-juss.
What a perfect necklace for this pretty lady. I love the story of her blog’s name. Gorgeous women and jewelry seem to run in her family!
She’s a doll!
