I am in the mood to clean house . Rejoice, the cleaning mood comes but rarely. Ask my husband. Anyway, I have a few moderately priced 14K pieces that I did not design but did, of course, pick out personally to tempt my gorgeous clients.
I only have one left of all of each of these designs, and I don’t plan to get more. To buy at the sale price, email me at wbjewelry at gmail dot com, because my website lists the regular price. These prices are just for blog peeps. To see the pieces on the website, click on the photos.
Also, I have three teeny-weeny 14K yellow gold necklaces: a tiny hamsa, a tiny chai and a tiny cross (SOLD!). If you are one of those people who prefer very delicate, subtle pieces, have I got the necklace for you! And they are $50 each! (Fifty! Five-Oh!) Let’s see, how should you spend your next $50? On something from H&M that you’re going to wear three times before it spontaneously falls apart? Or on a gold necklace that will give you years of teeny-weeny enjoyment? People who want to invest wisely should email me at wjewelry at gmail dot com to request a scan or a necklace.
Now that business is out of the way, let’s deal with a serious matter. Michael K. of Dlisted has fanned the flames of my Coco obsession! Okay, so he called her “a breath of fresh whore” but in a very loving way. Look at her posing with Ice-T! Hot! I have to get to work on some ass jewelry for this delicious couple.

Hi Wendy! I see your Lovely Notes on The Coveted all the time. Jennine and I work in the same office (I take pix of her sometimes). I LOVE the amethyst daisy earings, but am afraid they may be too large….what’s the diameter? If they’re small enough I’d love to get them. Let me know! Thanks 🙂
WendyB says
Hi Aidanclare! I’ve been wondering who takes the groovy pictures of Jennine! Those earrings are about 7/16th of an inch at their widest (be thankful I didn’t give that to you in millimeters). I would say if you are one of those people with petite lobes or low holes who only feels most comfortable with a small single-stone stud earring, or a drop earring that has very little metal resting on the ear (see my dewdrop earrings a few posts ago for what I mean), then these might be too big for you. If you’ve got a little more earlobe room, then you’re gonna look great. You know what? I have an amethyst drop earring that I could probably get to a comfortable price for you, so if amethyst is what you like, you have a choice.
AidanClare says
Oooh! How could I see a picture of the drop earings? The daisies are probably too big for me – I mainly like them for the color – 26 years, and I’ve never found a color other than purple to steal my heart!
WendyB says
Let me email you a top-secret picture of the drop earrings. Just send me a line and I’ll reply. You’ll see why.

Hi Fabi! That’s really nice of you. Wendy Brandes or Wendy Brandes Jewelry would be great.
Pinkstuffedbrain says
I’m loving your jewelry!!
When I’m back in the US i’ll have to treat myself with some Wendy B.
WendyB says
I will ship overseas! 🙂
Though I don’t think I’d recommend spending more on the shipping than on the jewelry itself. Not unless you REALLY have to have it! We have to be practical here. Take a look around my http://www.gigicaron.com site. If it’s currently under $500, I might suddenly decide it’s on sale for a person who is really sweet. There might be something that is worth sending long-distance.

the first two pieces are lovely.

OMG I am in love with all of these pieces, esp. the last! I still haven’t weaned myself off of my thing for skulls! =(
WendyB says
Why wean, VG? Skulls have been on jewelry for a thousand years, if not longer. Check out In Your Fashion’s link on memento mori! (A link can be found in my blogroll) Just because people started putting them on pajama tops and hot water bottles doesn’t ruin the original meaning for me. For me, it’s a symbol that’s one of the longtime classics of jewelry. Similarly, I’m always reading about how red lipstick is “in” or “out” again…but I wear it right through all those trends.

That skull piece is my favorite! I’ve been on a bit of a skeleton/anatomy kick as of late, I don’t know why.

Lillian, you should email me. The skull is a cutie. The photo doesn’t do him justice at all. He’s so much more sparkly than he looks!
WendyB says
Valley Girl, you should email me about the skull too. I didn’t mean to leave you out.

How come I never find beautiful jewelry to sell when I clean my house? This is yet one more example of the Magical Kingdom (or Queendom) of Wendy.
PS: If anyone is in the market for some prime grade A lint, I am going to clean my dryer out this evening. (Price On Request.)

Your jewelries are so beautiful, the purple one’s my favourite 🙂

I love those cross earrings =)
About what you asked me, i think better than giving money away to some organization is giving stuff face to face. That’s what i want to do, I wanna talk to them I wanna spend some time with them. It’s just a totally different experience i know i wouldn’t feel if I just donated money.
It’s not like a own a lot of money myself because i still can’t work for being underage (in Peru, we have to be eighteen to work). The few incomes I receive are from helping my little cousin with her school homeworks on Sundays (yes, once a week, and they pay me 20 soles, which is $7). So it’s mostly my parents who i convince when i need/want something. I talked about the all charity thing with them a few weeks ago and they said that hopefully we’re going to spend Christmas in the earthquake zone to help and give clothes/food/toys away.
I don’t see it as the money I save is going to help that people, because as i said, it’s not that much, it’s more like something I’ve always wanted to do and the all earthquake thing reminded me it was already time and I have to start by myself, I mean by being more conscious about buying stuff to then move to help anothers.
It’s kind of hard to express myself in this language. Hope you understood spanish =P.
Thanks for reading my blog and take care 😉
WendyB says
Aisha, you do very well in English. Thanks for satisfying my curiosity.

oooo, I love that square necklace, it is lovely. I had a pair of earrings quite similar to your Violet Daisy, they are very nice!
