Britney Spears, my favorite jewelry thief, had a rough time at the VMAs last night. But America loves a comeback, and I sincerely hope she will get her act together. I know people are saying she’s over but if Richard Nixon can make a comeback, anyone can. Honestly, I didn’t think Britney was the low point of the evening. I’m not going to name names because I still want all the tone-deaf singers and unfunny comedians to steal my jewelry and put me on the cover of OK! Magazine.
I will nominate Criss Angel for “fame whore of the year.” I believe it’s an Emmy category now. And I don’t care if he never steals my jewelry. I wouldn’t even let him buy it. Okay, I would let him buy it. Who am I kidding? But still, shame on you, Criss Angel! And on MTV, for using a troubled young woman to try to boost their ratings. Here’s a plan for better ratings: produce a better show!

well said! i haven’t watched britneys performance at the MTV awards yet, but i can’t imagine it gonig too well. Poor britney she’s coping too much crap in the public eye and others are making money off it
poor girl, she needs serious career help or to just give up and enjoy her money, home, and family. Criss Angel needs to disappear forever, he is fame whore of the year.
I don’t know… as much as I want her to come back, I don’t think last night was the right time. She seemed so lost up there! Ditto on Criss Angel though. That man doesn’t need to perform magic to make my skin crawl.
No, last night wasn’t her night. It was very unfortunate. But people are like “That’s it, she’s completely over.” And I think as long as there’s life, there’s hope!
I dont think Britney is ready yet…she is a lost child who grew up fast and is not able to cope.

I happened to see Britney’s performance and it made me a little sad, it was kind of like watching a train wreck in slow motion. It was like she was there, but she wasn’t there.
It certainly wasn’t the Britney that performed the Oops I did it again in that nude sparkly # or Slave 4 U with the albino python, now thoose were showstoppers!
