Thank you to Black Pearls for linking to a great YouTube video of Jennifer Lopez responding to fashion criticism. I love it! You tell them, J-Lo! Don’t mess with Jenny. She’ll cut you.
I just knew some people were going to get a kick out of that. Wasn’t that great though?! If I were famous and someone was asking me to defend an outfit that I wore I would have responded the same exact way. This is one of the many reasons why I love J.Lo, that was just too priceless!

I worship her like a goddess. I have always loved her but this is beyond. I wish I could put her attitude in a bottle and sell it!

I LOVE J-LO!!! I can’t paint without her singing. But now I love her even more!!!!

Wow, she looks so gorgeous here, beautiful eye make-up. I’ve always liked J-Lo, though i’m not a big fan.

Wnedy, I’ve tried “fashion blogger” but unfortunately I have to then explain what a blog is and that’s kind of hard to explain-“Umm, it’s a website” is my response. Most black people that I come in contact with do not know what blogs are (I am from Milwaukee about 2 hours north of Chicago-very small). But, this one makes the most sense to me so far and I think I will be using it.

Sorry for mispelling your name earlier. Thanks for the advice and I am an official “Fashion and Lifestyle Blogger”. I have printed cards and flyers, they have definitley saved me because when I first started people were skeptical since I didn’t have any “proof” to show them.

She looks fantastic!

That video was hilarious, she’s so real. Never really heard her talk before but that just made me love her more! How dare they ask her that anyways?

@ Shaz, I know, right? The nerve. But God, I LOVE the attitude she gave back. I’ve watched it so many times and I just laugh harder each time!

It would do a world of good if more women said, “You can kiss my ass” a whole lot more often. Maybe even daily. Even if no one’s listening. Even if it’s just to the bathroom mirror or, while we’re walking down the street.
