Voting and Tweeting

This is your last day to vote for me as Best Fashion Blog of 2008. I would be delighted to come in third, but if you happen to have the 10,000 friends required to help me take the lead, you should send that mass email immediately. Polls close at 5 PM ET. That means you won’t have to read any more campaign speeches! Out of sheer gratitude for that, you should go and vote for me right now.

If you need to be reminded of the many reasons you have to vote for me, here are my campaign speeches:

My campaign platform? Freedom from fashion-police terrorism so you can all Wear What You Want. Also, drinks on the house!

Separately, gorgeous blogger and campaign volunteer Chic and Charming scolded me for not officially announcing that I was on Twitter. I slyly inserted a Twitter link on the right side of this blog, but I didn’t make a fuss about it because my tweets primarily consist of:

  1. Vote for me.
  2. Buy my jewelry.
  3. I can’t sleep.

    4. This is a totally random picture of Abe Vigoda.

    My tweet topics will be down to two after voting closes tonight. Anyway, Chic and Charming is an important member of my constituency. (I care about your opinions, unlike other bloggers who are too famous to give you the time of day!) So to make her happy, here I am on Twitter.

    UPDATED TO ADD: Thanks to gorgeous bloggers ENC and QuoththeRaven for tweeting me. And gorgeous client Melissa insists that I remind you of the NieNie auction, in which you all helped me raised money to help a fellow blogger in need.

  7. Random item re Abe Vigoda. My husband’s friends, when they were ready to leave a party, would say, “Let’s Abe.” It soon turned into “Let’s Abe Vigoda.” I can’t look at a picture of him and not reach for my keys.

  17. It takes me forever to fall asleep, which I hate. Bah. Teenagerism. (I don’t know whether you know this, but teenagers need 10-12 hours of sleep a night and our melatonin doesn’t kick in until around 11 at night.)
