Tomorrow — Tuesday, July 16 — there will be a massive protest in Washington, D.C., against the concentration camps* at the border. #JewsAgainstICE from across the country are coming together with immigrant-rights organization Movimiento Cosecha to say, “Never again is now.”
For more information about the D.C. action as well as local events, check out NeverAgainAction.com.
Can’t go to a protest? Write a letter to the editor with this easy-to-use tool today. Then, on Tuesday, you should call your two senators and one congressperson. I mean, you should be calling them every day if you care about what’s going on in this country, but flood their fucking offices on Tuesday. Phone calls are always better than emails because you’re forcing staffers to stop what they’re doing to answer the phone. Disrupt their day!
If you truly can’t call during business hours, you can text the word RESIST to Resistbot at 50409 to send a message at any time of the day or night. I find that I get much better responses to Resistbot than I do to emails sent through the elected officials’ websites. Use Resistbot while you’re on the train, at the gym, in a bar, walking the dog, during the previews at the movies. It’s that easy to use once you do the initial set-up. Teach a friend!
This Tuesday immigrant organizers, #JewsAgainstICE and allies are going to DC to #ShutDownICE. We’re leading an action that’s going to strike at the heart of ICE and their enablers. Will you join us?

Dehumanization of groups of people is a predecessor to genocide. And, yes, it can happen here.
