Last week, I wore the same dress to the GEM Awards — aka “the Academy Awards of the fine jewelry industry” — where I posed for a photo with Monica Stephenson, the founder of ANZA Gems.
What Wendy Wore
I don’t know what I’m doing with my leg in this year’s photo. As you can see, Monica is a tall drink of water, so it’s not as if I had to scrunch down to fit in the frame with her. This is what happens when I try to break free of the WendyB pose: I need to stick with what works. Anyway, it was a good night for slow fashion. Those shoes are looking pretty good for being nine years old!
