My gorgeous friend Tina sent me some more photos from my birthday trip to Iceland, and this is my favorite one.
Yep, that’s really me climbing up an ice cave on a glacier. It’s not like I was using a big axe and ropes or anything … there were steps!
But I still felt pretty adventurous.
The next day, a group of us scrambled through a lava cave.
And I’ll never forget this relaxing walk on a black sand beach.
As you can see, it was a bit windy out there. When we weren’t withstanding gale force winds on a beach, however, the temperature was comparable to New York’s. Iceland is such a beautiful country. I would love to go back in the summer to experience the midnight sun.
