Happy New Year!
I am in Reykjavík, Iceland, continuing my big birthday celebration with MrB and a few friends.

I wouldn’t normally choose to wear snow boots with this fringed, suede skirt …
… but I didn’t mind sacrificing style for a traditional bonfire …
… and city-wide fireworks that started before midnight and continued, in force, for an hour after.
Here’s the head-to-toe outfit (minus the parka, hat, and scarf).

Iceland and New York have both had 20-degree whether for the past few days — and I believe that New York is colder than Iceland tonight — so none of us felt too badly about bundling up. Plus, we’ll warm up at the Blue Lagoon tomorrow.
