To mix things up a bit on my YouTube channel, I decided to interview some of the cool people I know. To make sure the interviews are lively, my guest and I are going to do our interviews over drinks! Here’s the first video of the “Tipsy Talk” interview series, featuring futurist and author Syl Tang.
Syl’s new book, Disrobed, is about how clothing can be used to predict economic cycles and “saves lives,” as Syl points out. It’s now available wherever good books are sold (currently for pre-order, but it will be officially on sale in five days).

As an aside, I think the Black Halo top I’m wearing in the video with Syl is soooo unflattering, at least when I’m sitting down. I’ve had it a good 10 years, if not longer. Even a slow-fashion fan like me can admit that’s long enough.

After watching the video with Syl, I was all set to get rid of the top, but then I got sentimental because I have such a clear memory of buying it during a fun trip to South Beach with MrB. So, the top is still in my closet, pending further consideration. Check in with me in 2027 — I’ll probably still have the damn thing!
