Ten years ago tonight, I went to Marc Jacobs’s Spring 2007 runway show with MrB. As was my habit, I wore one of my vintage Ossie Clark dresses to Marc’s show.

The late New York Times photographer Bill Cunningham always attended the Marc Jacobs show, and Bill appreciated a good Ossie. Even if Bill didn’t take my picture, he often noticed my dress. He’d always ask, “Ossie Clark?” to be sure.

As far as I recall, we weren’t invited to that, but we must have gone to the after-party in 2005, because I used to have this Lil’ Kim t-shirt, which probably came in a gift bag. I foolishly gave away that shirt a long time ago. Whyyyyyy?!?
