Kanye West popped the question to Kim Kardashian with a 15-carat diamond ring by Lorraine Schwartz. I appreciate his timing, because yesterday I launched another Instagram account — @WendyBrandesJewelry — which focuses solely on my jewelry designs and other jewelry news. No cats and dogs (you need to follow @fitzroy_the_cat for those) and no concert photos (those are at my personal Instagram, @WendyBrandes). Just jewelry! (“Just [fill in the blank]” wording will forever make me think of the Just Bulbs store on David Letterman’s show.) So thanks, Kanye! I now forgive you for that whole table-stealing episode.
In a day or two, I will be turning the new Instagram account over to Eryn, my very first full-time employee. Woot! I’ll also introduce her to you here.
