A big, big thanks to Marissa Stempien, fashion editor of JustLuxe.com, for the big, big interview with me that she just posted under the title of “Wendy Brandes’ Maneater Collection Brings Historical Whimsy to Luxury Jewelry.”
Marissa interviewed me on a day when I myself was doing multiple interviews of OTHER people for stories I was working on for the Huffington Post. This weekend, when I was going through my notes, I said to MrB, “I feel bad. People spend so much time talking to me and then I pick out one sentence I like best and that’s all I use.” He laughed and said, “Yes, that’s journalism.” I replied, “I know, but I still feel bad!” Anyway, I spent SO much time talking to Marissa and … she used it all! I appreciate that because, as I said here, the story matters the most to me when it comes to designing jewelry, and I love to get an opportunity to tell it!
