I like repeating theme outfits for holidays. I have a Moschino heart dress for Valentine’s Day and a red, white and blue Alexander McQueen dress for Bastille Day. My 4th of July outfit is my sailor outfit by JC de Castelbajac. Here it is in 2011 …
… and here it is in 2012, with the addition of fabulous stars-and-stripes shoes by Terry de Havilland. (I like all my designers to have a “de” in their name, I guess.)
I haven’t really gotten dressed today. We’ve been chillaxing at home. We just got back from Europe on Sunday, so we weren’t anxious to go anywhere this weekend. Right now, we’re watching the Macy’s fireworks show on television (MrB was smiling as Taylor Swift performed because he wuvs her so much). But we’re going to go out for a drink after the show, so I better make sure my sailor outfit is good to go!
super cool pants
hope you had a great 4th
