Big thanks to gorgeous blogger Marie Denee of The Curvy Fashionista, who wrote about my emoji stud earrings today. She said:

“I mean, feeling like F the world? There is an earring for that. Need to be reminded that everything is okay? You guessed it, there is an earring for that!“

And I’m amazed that I made it onto the Spanish financial daily website elEconomista. Agustín Velasco spotted the emoji studs on Style.com and interviewed me for elEconomista’s fashion blog, Fondo de Armario. Check it out here if you’re fluent in Spanish or simply enjoy the insanity that is Google Translate (as I do). Actually, you’ll never have to ask Google Translate for the Spanish version of “Go hard or go home” now, because Agustín helpfully translated that expression in the last sentence of the story.

  2. Just got mine yesterday and they are fabulous! Got them for my daughter, who is an emoji queen, but she has to wait until her birthday to get them!! I can’t wait because she will LOVE them and her friends will go nuts over them too!

  3. My mother (who was a very strict, somewhat prim woman) had a necklace that said OH SHIT. She wore it backward and would flip it around to indicate her … thoughts as needed.

    Trying to figure out the emoji version of this. Is it the middle finger followed by the ok sign (using the European interpretation of the ok sign, please let me not be the only person who thought of this) or are you going to do a version of the emoji poop?

    Because, you know, replicating her necklace is the best way to honor mom (I still might have the necklace somewhere, not sure), especially for Mother’s Day.

        in a caveman looking font (or more Monty Python?).

        I’m vacillating between middle finger/ok as a necklace or something honoring hers (maybe OH emoji poop? this is growing on me 🙂 ) in silver since I pretty much only wear silver.
