I met my new niece, Sabrina Berry, this weekend.
I wore my Damien Hirst diamond-skull t-shirt because I wanted to introduce the baby to all the finer things in life right away: red lipstick, black t-shirts, skulls and diamonds. I should have had a Cadbury Dairy Milk bar in one hand and a glass of Champagne in the other to make the list of good things complete, but then I wouldn’t have been able to hold baby Berry.
“Berry” isn’t really part of Sabrina’s name, by the way. We’ve always called my sister Terri “Terri Berry,” so her family members are honorary Berries. Terri’s husband is Tim Berry; my just-turned-four-year-old nephew is Sebastian Berry; and Terri’s new baby is Sabrina Berry. Right now, however, Sabrina looks more like a burrito than a berry.
Ain’t she sweet?
stacy says

Okay, Damien Hirst, yes, I’m all for that, not to mention the champagne and chocolate! And your own jewels. Yes, she is the sweetest berry burrito.

Adorable. Love a swaddled baby burrito!
Christine says
Congratulations to you and to Terri, Tim and Sebastian Berry! Sabrina is adorable — I have a 17 niece named Sabrina and she is tall, model gorgeous, brilliant and I am sure Sabrina Berri will be all that and more.
Zeus loved being swaddled as a very small baby, and to this day rolls around in bed until he works his blankets and duvet into a taco, if not a burrito. He’s a goof.
Bonus for Sebastian Berri…babies who are all swaddled up are less trouble!
Best wishes to all of you, xoxo

So sweet, a new lovie pie. Isn’t it wonderful holding a newborn? I’m thinking you need to start a line of infant and toddler WendyB jewelry inspired T-shirts.
