As hard as it is to remember this day and all the loss that came with it, I still have to remember the amazing spirit of New Yorkers who came together and helped wherever they saw it was needed — even if it meant a hardship to them. NO one can ever tell me New Yorkers are horrible! Its what you go looking for — expect nasty, you get it. Expect interesting, funny, you get that. The world came together, but I will always have that special part in my heart for my fellow New Yorkers. Thanks for the post (and the tears, think I needed that.) XXX

Seems like yesterday to me.
The photo is almost like it’s from a movie set. How could it be real? The whole awful event was so surreal. I have to read all of your posts — when I am more mentally prepared 🙁
