Once I find something I like, I stick with it. I wore this Stacy Lomman jacket and scarf combination nearly every day last week, including travel to and from Los Angeles. I just changed the black t-shirt regularly, and the shoes occasionally.
What Wendy Wore
Jacket: Stacy Lomman (2011)
T-shirt: Splendid
Scarf: Alexander McQueen (2010)
Jeans: Citizens of Humanity (2011)
Shoes: Hogan (2009)
Rings: My own designs
When I wasn’t wearing the Hogan shoes with Stacy’s jacket, I was wearing the silver Prada wedges that I originally posted on this blog in 2007. It hit me this week that I first wore those shoes to a friend’s daughter’s Bat Mitzvah … and the Bat Mitzvah girl has since graduated from college!
CLARIFICATION: For the benefit of my father, who is questioning my math, I did not mean to imply that the silver Prada wedges that I posted on my blog in 2007 were purchased in 2007. They were not! They were purchased close to the Bat Mitzvah year, which I’m guessing was 2003. I’ll throw a party for their 10th birthday next year.
Gorgeous look, darling WB!
Love that McQueen scarf!

Fab! Were you coordinating with the sky or vice versa?
I made the sky coordinate with me. I have the power!
Great jacket! You can’t beat comfy AND stylish.
I covet the jacket! What a great traveling outfit.
Love your look, so polished and fancy!
what a fabulous jacket

You KNOW I love the jacket and I’m sure I’ve told you how I would steal those shoes from you if they were my size! The combo is out of this world! LOVING!

It’s all in the math.
2 shoes + 1 jacket = a great outfit
I don’t know about the rest of your math.
GeorgeB, while I first posted the shoes on the blog in 2007 — the first year I blogged — I didn’t get them in 2007. If the girl is now 21 or 22, I got the shoes seven or eight years ago.
Grandrapsta G!!!!
The jacket is great— but I am sorry I didn’t get to see you while you were here! 🙂
Such a short trip! Came in Friday, left first thing Monday. Didn’t get to see anyone! Hopefully next time will be a longer visit.
All that silver is spectacular. The jacket looks great on you!
I’m planning a trip to NY at the end of the month and I want to take practically nothing. Thanks for the affirmation. I also have a father who checks my math regularly, even at my age! (flash cards anyone?)
Gave you a link in my comment section on the post Red Carpet Ready. You are my hero.
Love, Jean
You look adorable! Love the scarf. Hope you had fun in my city 🙂
what a wonderful jacket and the scarf is the perfect accent. I love the whole outfit.
