I am not usually that excited about Alexander McQueen, but I adore that dress.
The original skeleton dress is from Schiaparelli.
I have often thought about making a knock off.
Oh I love it. That print is awesome and I can totally see you wearing it Wendy!

It is kind of cool, but then it makes me think of all the women who starve themselves to look “thin,” and the fact that the quest for emaciation actually kills some. Could be a comment on that I suppose…

I might need this.
Eh, maybe not.
What do you think?

Super cool, but I kind of feel like they forgot about the bottom… I don’t like the proportion of the big black space.
Prêt à Porter P says
This is nothing compared to one of his early collections, it had a huge metal spine attached and then in the back the spine curved upwards.

OMG! I need that dress!

No, no, no, this is the perfect dress for you, Wendy!
That's Not My Age says
Oops I’m not suggesting you need a backbone – just saying you’d look fab in that frock.

Hey Wendy, Have a look at this http://clothescamerasandcoffee.blogspot.com/2011/01/made-to-measure.html#comment-form
Lovely young woman I have been following who has just gone through a spinal op – this is her post op dress – her per op dress had more curve. Xxxx

That’s fabulous, thanks for sharing.

Love everything about it, the colours, the print and the shape. Just a shame it costs so much!
