Thanks to gorgeous blogger Deja Pseu for pointing out the lovely leopard Sergio Rossi boots. Very tempting. But I’ve been looking for gold boots since 2008. What do I have to do to get the shoe fairy to leave all three pairs under my pillow?

The gold of the Bottega Veneta boots reminds me of the LeSportsac carry-on I just got. LeSportsac was MAJOR when I was in high school in the ’80s. I still remember the purse I got after coveting it for months: plaid with a gray background. I’m admittedly no longer a fan of LeSportsac’s purse style, but I love the travel bags for their lightness and durability. I had a Large Weekender in black for over 10 years. After the outer pocket finally ripped, I planned to get the same style in black patent. The patent was sold out, so I got gold instead and now I like it so much better than the black! I’m feeling that ’80s LeSportsac elation all over again.

I heart this bag.

    Speaking of fondness, I actually dig the pink Acne shoes, though I have to wonder why the shoe company is called Acne. Seems a bit off, non ?

  14. The gold boots are amazing! I like the LeSportSac in gold more than black too. My aunt has had hers (black) for 20 years, or something totally ridiculous like that.

  16. My husband has a pair of Fluevog Iggys that look like those pink shoes (his are red). I had a navy blue LeSport Sac when I was in junior high!

  29. i want some gold boots too but it’s so hard to find the perfect pair. i was so frustrated the other day i thought i might just spray paint some. and lesportsac awww…. i remember when they had a store in glendale galleria and it was THE place to get your bag. i love your metallic one. it rocks.
