VV Brown Wears Wendy Brandes Swear Rings

Gorgeous singer VV Brown is wearing the Wendy Brandes swear rings on pages 72 and 73 of the March 2010 issue of SPIN Magazine! Here’s page 72. VV and I must be soulmates because she’s wearing a version of the hairdo I wore last October.

The stylist was kind enough to send me a behind-the-scenes snapshot of VV.

You should definitely run out and get this issue of SPIN. It’s got Courtney Love on the cover. Courtney is her usual wild-and-crazy self in the interview, which was conducted five days after she lost custody of her only child, Frances Bean Cobain. There is also a story called Second Acts, which is a fascinating “where are they now” report on musicians including Justine Frischmann of Elastica, Jennifer Finch of L7 and Rat Scabies of the Damned.

Another gorgeous woman who has been wearing my swear rings is blogger Solo Lisa. Her friend Felix Yuen took these photos.

Looks like Lisa's BF Lawrence is going to get a VERY close-up look at the rings.

  16. These rings are brilliant, especially as someone who has been known to drop the lady image and use a lot of cuss words when needed (getting stung in the face by 8 bees is totally a good occasion to swear). Now to convince my husband that I need them…

  26. YAY! Congrats on the great press in SPIN Magazine, Wendy! Your beautiful jewelry definitely deserve more attention. And thanks for featuring my photos; the shoot was a lot of fun and Lawrence was a good sport about being punched in the face lol.

    For anyone who’s thinking of getting the swear rings, DO IT!! People talk about “miles per gallon” to conceptualize mileage when it comes to cars. I seriously think you should talk about “compliments per wear” mileage re. these swear rings, Wendy. Everywhere I wear them, people notice, squeal, gush, and compliment. Plus, I feel like a bad-ass whenever I have them on. 😀
