Darlings, it’s after 2 AM and I have to get up before noon for a change, so I don’t have time to tell you all that happened to me last night. Here’s the short version:

I got an awesome new Francis by Christian Francis Roth piece that I’m calling the “Erica Jong dress.” (Christian’s name suggestion is “The Zipless Frock.”)

Naturally, I accessorized with the swear rings.

I saw a crazy drunk girl throw up on a nice blogger in the front row of a fashion show. (No pictures. You should thank me for that.)

I saw a model faint on the runway in the same show. At first we thought she was just falling out of her shoe, but she kept wobbling and the model next to her had to half-carry her backstage.

Down she goes.

I met a bunch of cool people.

I read Market Publique’s blog post on the IFB party and a bunch of lies my stylist, Prunella Jones, made up about me.

    I love the you capture all the wacko side of the fashion show! I’m sure the model only had a teaspoon of water for breakfast that’s why she fainted. Poor girl. Your stylist is…errmmm..hmmm…very interesting. The parrot can be the next big thing in fashion!

  12. ok the fainting model makes me sad. as much as people like to gawk at the spectacle of models falling on the runway and snarking at how skinny they all are, it IS a disturbingly *dangerous* industry. sigh.

    but your erica jong dress looks specatcular! jealous you met the esteemed mr lim.

    Also I am glad to know that college parties and fashion runways aren’t too much different. Lots of photos, people fainting, some chick vomiting onto someone respectable.

    Miss J remembers when she was a model and fainted on the runway. She hadn’t eaten in fourteen weeks… No nice model helped her off-stage though. Some skinny bitch just rolled her off the stage and on went the show. Hey, that’s showbiz.

Wendy B!! you have a beyond fabulousssss life!! lets see last night I ironed my teenagers shirt for back to school pictures, got my four olds clothes ready for first day of school…oh sorry I just dozed off from boredom.. 🙂 btw. I wore the skirt to an appt. today and even though it was big it looked great, made me look thinner because it was hanging on me!!
