Last week, I introduced the Francis Fall ’09 collection with a drum roll of sorts. Gorgeous ex-blogger ENC took pity on me and emailed me to say that her husband, a professional drummer, would kindly do some drum roll videos for me so that I would be able to announce things with the appropriate fanfare in the future.
The ENC family sent me three videos: one short drum roll, one long and spectacular drum roll and one that features highlariously obvious product placement of the WendyB skull ring worn by MrENC. Of course, I’m going to share the one with the product placement.
If you’d like your own skull ring, you can get it through my website here.
As for me, I’d like my own confetti cannon. I love confetti. I think every time I walk into a party/restaurant/bar/your home/Christian Francis Roth‘s studio, I should be introduced by a drum roll. Then, when I go, I’ll scream, “Thank you! You’ve been a great audience!”, bow and leave amid a shower of confetti. What do you think? Good idea?
OF COURSE IT IS!!!
You need someone shooting t-shirts out of a cannon, too.
Drum roll!!! The ring, the drum and the announcement of the fall collection all make perfect music together. I am off to see if I can download a drum roll to my phone so when I see you I can give you the appropriate fanfare.
Perfect drum roll and as for confetti I rather like the idea of cheerleaders announcing my entrance!
How fabulous and totally in keeping with this gorgeous blog-yaay!!
Everyone should have a drum roll and confetti to make an everyday a special occasion….
P.S. I adore confetti as well 🙂
love it! 🙂
Great drum roll, and great idea too! I love confetti! x
Nice work (the ring, and the drumming).
If I ever tried to make jewelry, I would need a ‘rimshot’ instead of drum roll.
You should definitely organize that! Everyone would remember you!
I think ENC has a cool husband!
I think confetti should rain down on you everywhere you go, Miss WendyB!
My hubbo enjoyed doing that drumroll just for you!
ha! i love it!! yes, i second you on the drumroll-and-confetti entrance idea. there’s something very magically silly about confetti… 😀
Brilliant Idea!
great drum roll and ideas! you have one interesting site! 🙂
Love it! Don’t think I’ve ever seen a drum roll up close before!
Yoko Ono really? Must’ve been a fun dream!
HAH! Leave it to enc – that video is utterly awesome, as is your skull ring.
And I think the drum roll entrance/confetti exit should become your signature.
I’m shredding the evidence right now. Want me to ship it to you to use?
ENC is too cool. I likey the drum roll.
AWESOME video!
I think that sounds like a stellar plan. I would like a downpour of confetti when I change a dirty diaper. Since that occurs umpteen times a day I would feel special all the time. Ah ha. Oh, and a drummer hubs? HOT!
Teehee product placement drumrolls–nice! Augh your post just reminded me–I THINK I’m closer to deciding on what I want from the fall collection. I’ll email you and we can discuss it offline. 🙂
Love all your rings, WB! Am thinking of featuring one this week in a “CC loves” post!
xoxox,
CC
Holy cow Miss Wendy, this is too cool! What a great guy he is! You are definitely the only person I know with their very own drum roll! Whoo-hoo!
tp
haha, that’s awesome
That would be so cool. Places get cranky about confetti though.
Ok, the drum roll is truly one of the coolest things I’ve seen in the blogosphere and leave it to you to introduce it!
haha! Coolest vblog ad ever!
Hahahaa! That is so awesome! Thank you so much for the shout out, too 🙂
so great!!
I’m still obsessed with your skull designs. Beautiful, mysterious, satirical, dichotomous. Oh, and hot!
Oh – just excellent! Mr. OM is fab. Looks so hawt in his ring with his bad boy drum kit! The best product placement in ages…
Great ring! Totally drumroll and confetti shower worthy.
How about if I just throw toilet paper at you? I’m too lazy to cut it up.
Oooh, I like this. Have you ever considered being shot out of a cannon? That could be fun. And a cape with Wendy B bedazzled on the back as you fly through the air. That could also be a nice touch…
How many people can say they have their own drum roll? Next up: ticker tape parade.
Definitely a good idea. You should probably hire an entourage too–like Lady Gaga…
Oh, yeah! Brilliant ideas, WendyB, you goddess of the blog world!
Totally loving the ‘product placement’ insert – WendyB is a marketing queen.
And yes, you deserve a confetti cannon.
btw – KT’s comment is hilarious 😉
XOXO
Ahahah 😛
This is cool, you should go for it.
Kind of wanting one too now!
WOW! Just like YOU WendyB – WOW !!!
Deffo drumroll worthy!! I totally adore that ring, as well 🙂 love love loveee <3
xox, mavi
Ah! That’s a fantabulous drum roll, WendyB! Perfect for you, perfect for that skull ring!
My anti-spam word is JEWELRY!
ive always wondered what it would be like to have my own personal MC that introduces me in a “movie trailor announcer” voice. if i ever get one, ill let u borrow him for a day:)
hey !!!
thanks, I will write you an e-mail so you have mice too
awsome video by teh way !!
Loved the ring. I’m with you on the confetti. I think confetti has the ability to make any situation seem like an awesome party.
Skull ring?? Well aren’t you just badass… 🙂
Perfect drum-roll!
I love&want confetti showers too, but not cleaning them…I really need Merry maid service 24/7!
love it! i want people to ask for encores when i leave a room. or, how about exited a room with a curtsy?
It’s a good thing that I don’t have your kick ass skull ring. If I put one of those on, I’d think that I was a total badass. I’d end up putting four of those rings on each hand, thinking that jewelry could double as a pair of brass knuckles. In the end, I’d be killed in a bar fight since I’d forget that I’m really not that bad ass.
Also it’s a good thing I don’t have a confetti canon. I’d use it everyday to scare the cats.
Oh my dear Wendy!!
Laughter is what I always have (without fail) each time after reading your blog! =)
