Yesterday, I posted about some of my 3D designs. Here’s another. The gold Hatshepsut Locket is set with diamonds on both sides, so you can wear it either way. This photo shows the locket open and closed.

If you want to invest in an ounce of gold, this is your chance. The Hatshepsut might be one of the heaviest pieces I’ve made and I’ve made a lot of heavy pieces. I previously posted a picture of me wearing the silver version of the necklace to give you an idea of the size. Here’s the official photo of the Hatshepsut in silver, again showing the locket both open and closed.

Oh, soo gorgeous, I do love it in silver!!
Wendy, you do the most incredible work! One day when I get to Noo Yark, i’m going to get me some of those jewels of yours, one day…
Such an original idea for a locket! I really like it in gold!
Your designs are always so innovative! I love this x
your lockets are gorgeous and so original as always.
my daughter has taken your fashion advice to heart and now ALWAYS wears what she wants. you are changing lives!
I like it. For people with strong personality
They’re both incredible. I love the gold on the omega chain, and the silver on the black cord (that is a cord, right?). These are so sculptural, but not too heavy to wear.
The 3rd grade version of my brother would be so happy to realize he’s not the only one who finds Hatshepsut fascinating. Unfortunately, this information will come years too late, after beatings by bullies and the social ostracization have taken firm root.
Damn it I want the gold – you’ve truned me into a gold hooker!
Is it heavy enough to double up as a murder weapon? THen you could at least be dying in style…
On a lighter note, this reversible thing is just so fantastic because my necklaces are always swinging the wrong way round. Fabbytastic! x
Wendy as soon as I unfreeze myself from jewelry shopping I will look into this piece. it’s so stylish and simple.
I adore the gold! Fantastic Blog!

Miss Janey thinks this design is nothing short of FABULOUS.
Wow! I love silver pieces!

Your jewelry truly is amazing. I wish I could use it in the editorials I am styling in Norway! About the pic: I think the iphone is better for that than a regular camera. Just hold it steady and try to place it in front of your face or neck. I also find it better to stand a little further from the mirror and zoom if you need to. Have a wonderful weekend!
It’s amazing, and the perfect size!
Hehe I still remember when you bringing the locket along with you to Pio Pio and showing it to Mark, Bob, and me. And now there’s a gold and diamond version…very nice indeed.
I adore that screw type connection for the rings, they look beautiful
And I love the name of the lockets, I actually bought a book on Hatshepsut the other day, she was a remarkable pharoah, if one can really even call her that.
Well there is no doubt you have talent.
Absolutely freakin gorgeous!
I’m fairly sure I’ve seen it in person, and it is /gorgeous/.
Wendyb I am so pleased with the jewelry. I recommend the pendants and site to everyone.

Oh! pretty pretty pretty! I love the simplicity of the design! This locket is definitely going on my wish list!
Such beautiful lockets!
Love it in silver, too!
Amazing
I can just picture it with a black long one shoulder dress. Just fab!
