LOVE love LOVEmy new ring!
THANK you!
The email is from gorgeous blogger ENC, and the photo shows the first of three custom-made stacking rings I designed for her. I’m using the stones from an old ring that she inherited. The ring in the photo is 18K rose gold with rubies; I also have some diamonds to use. Stay tuned for the next two rings. And remember, there’s no need to keep jewelry you don’t enjoy when I can remake it for you. If you want to inquire about a redesign, contact me at wbjewelry at hotmail dot com.
UPDATED TO ADD: Here’s another view of the ring.

That ring looks awesome! I love how the little gold shapes reach and stretch from one stone to the next.
Wendy, you are so talented it’s unreal! I hope you frame emails like that so that you can continually remind yourself how great you are x
Oh wow! I can’t wait to see what they look like all stacked together.
So clever!
Thank you for posting this Wendy… it is beautiful and I love 18K
That is lovely. I have some old jewelry that I don’t know what to do with, a really old Chinese yellow gold bracelet that I had when I was a baby, the gold is so soft and at some point it’s lost its catch, not that it would fit me these days anyway! I’m always wondering what I can do with it to make it wearable again, seems such a shame.
i can’t wait to see these stacked.. wow. I can picture it already.. so nice. Kudos on great design, once again.
Fabulous design! And is suits Enc so perfectly!
Wow, looks amazing. I’ve decided I’m dropping hints to people around my birthday that I want something you designed!
I loooooooooooooooove this ring! The combination of the delicate stones and the gold “x”s is beautiful.
I really do love it!

If my good blog friend ENC is happy – then I’m happy.
Hi there-how completely, utterly gorgeous-I love it and I’ve a sneaky feeling Enc does too!! Excellent job well done my dear, can’t wait to see the next ones!!
Wow! You’re a real artist!

Ugh, Blogger ate my comment! But the gist of it is that you are an awesome designer of jewelry and that this setting is just perfect for Enc.
Ohmy, that is so lovely, you clever talented gal!
Hi there-You’re so fabulous, please accept the award over on my blog!!
Fantastic ring! I love the design so much!
a kiss for you Wendy!
That’s such a lovely idea to use stones from an inherited ring. So much more personal.
I love all the love and I love the ring.
that is gorgeous.

What a beautiful ring! So fabulous, enc 🙂 xxx
fantastic, what a great idea.
That is so sweet of her but I’m sure it’s well-deserved, that ring is amazing!
That is one gorgeous ring!
For anyone who thinks this is easy, IT’S NOT. I tried once, miserably, to make jewelry. I failed. Everything looked terrible, the lines were fuzzy, and those rotary machines freaked me out. After seeing your lovely designs, I’m convinced: you’re a genius.
Lordess of the rings.
Lucky Enc – I’m so jealous! Damn this crappy economy forcing me not to spend any money – bah!
PS: We’ve given you an award 🙂
Wendy, this is just gorgeous. I love the shape–so unusual & so gorgeous. Can't wait to see the next to.
That ring is gorgeous – you are so unbelievably talented.
Wendy, leave it to you to make something so interesting and beautiful. ENC, could we see a before/after shot?
SO SO beautiful!
What a perfect remake. Can’t wait to see the others.
That’s so sweet!
If I had a ring like that I would write an email like this aswell! It’s gorgeous!
Oh man! I’m gonna scrounge around my grandma’s old jewelry for stones and gold so I can get you to make me a flying monkey ring!
I know this is old….but did you read the article on gold in the National Geographic?
Pretty fascinating stuff…like all the gold that has ever been mined in history would only fill two olympic size swimming pools. huh!
I keep blogging on this theme: REHAB your old jewelry. Gorgeous!
Iron Chic, I never read that article, though I meant to. I’ll have to look online.
Duchesse, I should note that doing something like this can be much more expensive than buying a ready-made piece. For custom work, I’m doing a one-of-a-kind design and the customer pays for the design work directly. If you buy from my inventory, I’ve already paid for the design work. It’s couture vs ready-made. I recommend this kind of project for people who have emotional attachments to particular gems or metals, not for people who want to be thrifty.
Other peeps, I’m glad you like it. Wait till you see it with the other two rings.
this ring is gorgeous.
i wish i had “known” you before. i had a family heirloom “disappear” from a VERY reputable jeweler. they refuse to take responsibility for it and accused of us taking the jewels back and claiming we didn’t. now we’re gonna end up in a lawsuit w/them. but what pisses me off the most is that we lost a very precious family heirloom. oh well…
I love the new ring! Great job with the redesign!
love! would be cool to see the “before” photo as well. . .
What’s not to LOVE love love love??? It’s really beautiful, WendyB.
I came to your blog to see your designs and they are wonderful.. this is truely incredibly special…
absolutely beautiful-you’re so talented!!!
