This morning’s post reminded me that I recently had two fashion-related dreams. First, I dreamed that I was on a talk show discussing my controversial leopard-print Patrick Kelly dress. I’m thrilled to say that even though I was asleep, I passionately defended my dress and declared I would wear it again.
The following night, I dreamed that I designed a bracelet that looked like a David Yurman piece.

My own screaming woke me up.
OH GOD! A David Yuman bracelet?!? You poor thing, it must have been indigestion.
The DY dream is truly scary!
Oh lordy, David Yurman??? Yuk!
Fream #1 seems predictive of the Alaia dress. I think it means that you might want/need to buy it.
Dream#2 is either just an anxiety dream or it might mean you are doing something in your waking life that you are not happy about, i.e. you are creating something that does not match who you are. Or, it is as Sister wolf said, just bad indigestion.;-)
Sweet dreams!
hehe! that dress is pure hotness, are they blind?
oh god, i’m so relieved, as I was scrolling down and saw that yurman and thought briefly “NOOOO!” oh me of little faith.
Jebus, that bracelet is more bland than plain tofu.
I rarely remember my dreams. The last one I remember quite distinctly was one in which I was arguing with my ex, who wanted to adopt a monkey. I was telling him all the reasons why that’d be a bad idea (they’re dirty, they infest the house with ticks, a monkey would scare his Daschund)…I blame that dream on a large dinner.
Now THAT’s a NIGHTMARE! A David Yurman-style bracelet? Oh, the humanity.
I still take issue with the stupid WWD blurb about your leopard print dress. They were WRONG. You look HOT.
Sorry, I meant “dream”–it was the David Yurman bracelet that made me typo. I could only imagine what kind of typos I would make if I actually had one on my wrist. I shudder in horror!
Oh, I rather like “fream.” Meaning “freaky dream.” Let’s keep it.
Left a comment on your original post and didn’t realise I was back in time!
LOL..
Are you having too much chocolate and cheese before bedtime?? The purchase of the Alaia dress should induce sweet dreams!
Yep keep on screaming to stay with your designs!
lol, i do not know the uproar that has come from dreaming of designing a jewellery similar to that of the other designer but i’m certain it is safe to assume that it is BAD haha. What weird and zany dreams you had. I just had one of cannibalistic giant cockroaches last night…. ewwww 😛
What did you eat… copious amounts of cheese…I always say…STAY AWAY from CHEESE!
Don’t worry; mall jewelry is not in your future!
There’s a market for the Yurman stuff, just like the “Return to Tiffany” dog tag.
How did you feel ending up on that Disaster page? You said you would wear the dress again… but what were yor feelings on receiving this judgment?
Duchesse, my #1 response was that I couldn’t wait to get online and tell everyone! I’ve always had “wear what you want” in the header of this blog because I hate the self-appointed fashion police and their lack of humor, so it’s like I finally lived up to my motto.
David Yurman, ai yi yi. I hope this won’t be a recurrent nightmare.
your funny even in your dreams.
I think you look hot in that leopard print dress – wish I could wear something like that!
I like your attitude, Wendy!
Hahahahha! Miss WendyB- you are too funny.
