Mr. B and I had to celebrate our anniversary last night because he has a work-related event tonight. I had outfit trauma while getting ready because I put on a vintage dress only to decide it needed alterations. This is what I wore instead.
Some of you might recognize that dress from the Sex and the City movie. Miranda wore the long version in Mexico.
What a gorgeous dress you wore-it looks great and I love the print!! Hope you had a wonderful evening too!
Very pretty! I like your shorter, sleeved version better than the Miranda one I think. Very classeh!

You look spectacular. I wish I had the guts to wear nude shoes.
I hope you two had a great time last night!
Happy Anniversary!
wow you look great Wendy! it’s such a funky fun dress and of course the shoes are awesome!
I hope your evening was as lovely as you look in that picture!
Wow you’re good. When I suffer outfit trauma, I never rebound so quickly and effectively. It usually throws my whole night off.

You look adorable! The dress is so perfect on you!
xx
Jules, I actually did feel “off” all night. I kept feeling like the shoes and dress didn’t go together.
you look fantastic. i have not gotten into pearl rings yet but i love black pearls, have to see your new ring. i am looking into a simple stud at Mikimoto.
Lovely dress – gorgeous print and you look amazing in it!
beautiful dress!
Wendy, you have such a great smile. No coy, half-assed smirking … your smile just lights up your whole face. Oh, and the dress is fab, too, of course.
Aw, thanks Sal. But I always wish I could carry off some pouty, MySpace-ish, sexytimes expression. I don’t seem to have one of those.
Great dress! Great shoes!
I’m so sad about Estelle Getty. How strange that she was younger than Bea Arthur.

“outfit trauma” *lol* Brilliant term for a well known phenomenon!
You did look perfection in spite of the drama! The nude shoes complement the vibrant dress so finely. And you have such a beautiful smile, I just love how effortlessly stylish everything about that picture is.
Thank you, Ida!
Note to other peeps: it’s okay to use “effortlessly chic/stylish” … if it’s about ME! ME, dammit! Mwah ha ha ha!
love the fit. and i am partial to nude shoes so I think you rocked it with that choice.
happy happy your love day.
happy anniversary! You wear it better than Miranda!
Happy Anniversary to you and Mr B! Hope your dinner was as good as the dress! Green is the colour I’m wearing…green with envy that you have a (shorter version) of a SATC dress! x
You look much better in it than she did. And I’m not just saying that!
oh, hate outfit trauma before the celebration. now that i think about it, i usually have a little breakdown before an important night out.
your dress is much cuter.
That dress looks fantastic on you. I actually like your version better than Mirandas in the movie. Hope you had a wonderful evening!
love this dress on you (i wrote a post today featuring a t-bags piece)…such a fun pattern!
To the peeps who commented on Miranda’s dress — I think my style is a more flattering cut. There’s something a bit formless about the long version, isn’t there?
Fabulous look.
Happy Anniversary!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO YOU AND MR B!
thank goodness you didn’t go out in the SJP number, it would have swallowed you whole!
You look fab!
Very pretty, I love your shorter version more.
Whenever I try on a T-Bags dress I always look some pathetic sack of dough but I do love them and I think you look FABULOUS in yours!
T-bags always have such pretty print but they are always too big on me… Lucky , the dress looks stunning on you 🙂
Mr. B seems to be getting better with his photography. Or maybe it was such a special occassion that the love just poured out naturally. Happy belated anniversary.
Happy Anniversary! You look lovely. x
