The New York Times Magazine did a great story on my gorgeous husband’s non-profit investigative journalism project and Herb and Marion Sandler, the philanthropists who conceived of and funded the project. The whole magazine is about philanthropy this week. Of course, there’s a celebrity on the cover and it’s … Natalie Portman. Oh noes! Angelina is going to be pissed. Watch your step, Natalie. Angelina is liable to shank a bitch who steps on her turf.
In other family news, my gorgeous sister Terri Berry says, “Stand back, Buenos Aires! I found the Patti LuPone episode from Will & Grace. I can’t believe I never saw that before. Now my life is complete.” Click here to make your life complete too.
Ms.B – This is excellent. What an accomplished couple you are! BTW, you are a star on Kingdom of Style today (no small feat). In case you haven’t seen it you should check it out. K
OMG! I hadn’t seen. I’m kind of mortified as well as complimented to see my foolish face on the Queens’ awesome blog!
Impressive! Congrats to your husband!
Thanks for readingand leaving nice comments on my blog. it’s moved!

woah!
congratulations to your husband!
♥
Thanks! I think my hair is finally settling after my Professional cut.
Angelina is going to adopt an ENTIRE country of orphans probably. In your face, Portman!
Congratulations on the article! Prison slang is always funny, isn’t it? Unless you’re actually in prison, I guess.
wow thats excellent, give him a big congratulations hug from all the bloggers!!! 🙂
That Natalie, she’ll just give it all away every time.
Patti was on HBO’s Oz for a while too I think.
Great, you make a highly skilled couple.
Congrats!
That’s a great episode of W&G. And that’s great news about the NYT Magazine piece! I’m sort of glad Natalie Portman was on this cover—we need more variety in the staggeringly beautiful faces on magazines.
Congrats to your husband! You are quite the power couple.
Power couple indeed! I’ll drink to that (raising imaginary glass filled with the finest of champagne). I’ll also take Natalie over Angelina any day. It’s always irked me that because she does so much goodwill work, the world totally turns a blind eye to her husband stealing antics. (I’ve got a true personal story about Angelina Jolie’s antics. . . one day I hope to meet you for coffee and spill the beans on that one 🙂
Terrific story! I just finished teaching a unit on investigative journalism with a series from the NYT (sorry, Wall St J), that was coauthored by Lowell Bergman (mentioned in your article) and edited by Douglas Frantz. Doug, who I’m sure your husband knows, was supposed to come to my class a couple of years back (he’s a local boy who made good) but there was a problem with the space shuttle and he had to stay at the office! Just a little six-degrees-of-separation gossip.
You are a power couple indeed!
MissC, my husband says, “I do indeed know Doug Frantz.” Separately, all the power is on his end; I am power-free! I’m like a blackout.
That was a great clip! WnG is a funny funny show!
I read the article-that was great news! Literally! We desperately need investigative journalism now in this country! I am glad that Paul is spearheading the effort to do just that!
