UPDATED AGAIN: I’m going to try the pop-up comments for a while and see if they annoy me. I do like the way pop-ups allow you to keep an eye on what you are commenting on. However, they make it more difficult to click back on a commenter’s profile. Therefore, pop-ups are on probation for now.
I vote for non-popups. 🙂
I don’t know what they’re called, but I like the comments where I can see the entire post, not just the text. That way if I want to mention/praise/comment on something specific in a photo, I can see it easily.
Thanks for looking at Duncan in the bag. You know, we were near probably 50 people, between the store and the two buses, and no one knew the little cutie was there! He just curled up and rode, just like he did on our five-day trip across the country in a UHaul truck in June, 2006.

Oh, and I vote for non-pop ups too. It seems more convenient to click on a user name and surf to a new page and surf to a non-pop up page than to do all that inside of a pop up window.

i vote for pop ups because then i can always look back onto the past if i’ve forgotten the name of a particular item that i would like to comment on and whatnot and i’ve got a dreadful 3 second memory so pop ups rock!

pop-ups are cool. i didn’t realize what it was until right now…since I am currently looking at your blog while posting a comment. you made me laugh so hard that 2 co-workers came into my office to find out what was so funny. it was the “do you bithces…” bit
pop-ups because I can scroll on – on the other hand I lose the post I want to comment about and then forget what I wanted to write and espesh when it’s about a pic because that doesn’t show if I click – show original post. Hm, but still, pop-ups is good!
If I was a programming pro, though, I’d make something which slides out from the post and you can comment but it’s still the same site.
Hate to go against the crowd–but I am anti-pop-ups. You can read the original post in the non-pop-up form too.
