Mel Brooks said, “I cut my finger. That’s tragedy. A man walks into an open sewer and dies. That’s comedy.” He was wrong. A man has terribly painful ass surgery. That’s comedy! I belatedly came across this November post by Bad Bob. I’m glad you’re feeling better, Bad Bob! I hope it helps to know that I laughed till I cried.
If you peeps need more reading material of the non-laughter-inducing variety, check out this remarkable story by Bill Dawes about Project Runway contestant Elisa Jimenez (thanks for the link, Fashionista).

Thanks for the link. Poor guy – that does NOT sound like fun even though it had me giggling away:)

WB, thanks for posting the link to that wonderful story. I’m a fan of PR, so I watched Elisa’s interesting trajectory on that program. I’m not sure whether to feel hopeful or depressed over that tale, however.

Suzanna, fascinating, isn’t it. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it either. Certainly if I ever wind up on TV trying to help my career, I would not be enthused for some dude from my past writing a story about how we fought like cat and dog. On the other hand, it wasn’t unsympathetic. I don’t know. Let’s read the ass story again.
Cee-Cee, she’s from Grey’s Anatomy.

Wow, that story is remarkably like Eternal Sunshine. I too watch PR, and she is quirky to say the least. How touching however dreadful. It’s a romantic story no matter how deranged…

Loved the link to the Elisa story, wow! I’ll have to forward that to Beckeye over at The Pop Eye, she’s a PR fan too.
