If you’re looking for thinspiration, skip this post.
My gorgeous client Tina is the co-author of The Ski House Cookbook, which, as the cover cutely explains, is a collection of “Warm Winter Dishes for Cold Weather Fun.” Even cuter: each recipe has a difficulty rating just like ski runs do. Beware of the black diamond-rated Sticky Toffee Pudding!
I don’t cook OR ski and I still love this book. It looks so delicious that I’m just going to lick it whenever I get really hungry and can’t figure out how to boil water. That means you people who cook and/or ski have no excuse. When you make the Cinnamon Streusel Coffee Cake, you can invite me over. But you better make two of them, because I eat a lot!
I think this is a great holiday present for anyone who can understand the first few words of the introduction to the Jibbers’ Enchiladas recipe: “To jib is to huck oneself off a terrain park feature…” Huh? I have no idea what that means. Tina is obviously multilingual; I am more impressed by the minute. Seriously, go here and buy this book or go huck yourself!
FIT’s my number one choice by far. I just hope I can get in!
Oh what a lovely cookbook, but I can’t fit into my clothes as it is, so no yum-yum cookbooks until I’m eating-weight again.
ooh!! i definitely need to learn how to cook. this book might be a great start to it. ^^
mMmm looks really good! But I just went off south beach and have been gorging on carbs (lol – i REALLY missed my carbs!!!) that cake you mentioned sounds really good tho…haha
I want that book!
PS: your limbless sky-diving fiancee comment had me in the proverbial ROFLOL mode.

Dammit dammit dammit, you’re making me hungry, which is not fair because I’ve only just started fitting into my jeans again.
It looks so great that I could stare at that cover all day long!!
LOL, Wendy, by the looks of it, that’s gonna be one soggy book. Is that French Onion soup on the cover. For the first time in my life, I want that for breakfast.
Tina rocks. I can personally vouch for her amazing talents in the kitchen!
I should have read this post yesterday! I was craving some “cold weather” (well, rainy weather, but close) comfort food. I ended up making soup instead, but the cinnamon bread sounds delicious!
